A maison built on patience.

Aurélys was founded by Henri Moreau in a single-room atelier above a hat-maker on the Rue Saint-Honoré. He had one rule: never bottle a fragrance that did not first move him to silence.

Our Mission

To bottle the unrepeatable.

We believe a fragrance is a private monument. It should not perform for the room — it should belong only to the wearer and those they invite close.

Today, Élise Moreau — Henri's daughter — leads the maison as Master Perfumer. She still composes by hand, on paper, before a single drop touches the formula.

Four decades, in chapters

1987

The first bottle

Henri Moreau composes Rose Noire in a borrowed Grasse laboratory. Fifty-two were ever made.

1996

The Paris atelier

The maison moves to the Rue Saint-Honoré, where every bottle is still hand-finished today.

2011

A new nose

Élise Moreau takes over composition, introducing the Vert Empire and Blanc Éternel collections.

Today

Twelve compositions

Aurélys releases at most one new fragrance per year. Some take a decade to arrive.
